  The hall was beautiful, but the person in Cindy, and the bartender were very rude. I had my wedding reception there, and paid for top shelf open bar for 80 people. During the our time there, the bartender said we had more then 80 people drinking. I asked one of my friends to make a count to make sure we didn't have more then 80 people drinking. The count came out to 55 people drinking. Cindy came out during the reception and turned on all the lights to do a head count. Some of our guest left thinking that the party was over. If they replace Cindy and the bartender this will be such a nice hall. Definitely will not go back to have any celebrations here.

  I had my retirement party on August 20, 2016 at St. James Hall. From the time I reserved the hall to the end of my event, the experience was absolutely great. Cindy and her staff made sure everything was taken care of. They took all the worry away. I loved the special touches they did. They made two drink specials for me, they made special table numbers for me and Cindy allowed me to bring all of the decorations the day before the event where she locked them in a room so that they would be safe. The caterer Brenda and her staff were great and the food was delicious. I can't say enough about St. James. I would recommend this venue to anyone and I am definitely going to use them in the future. Thanks St. James for making my retirement party so memorable. Rhonda Travis

  First of all: the hall manger was amazing. I wanted a special craft beer, and Cindy stated it was part of my package. The hall was immaculate , the food was the best. The whole staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. They even helped my wife's mother out of the car door.
  
  St James offered several different packages, going so far as to offer to customize my entire event.
  
  I definitely recommend St James Hall

  I Hosted a Adult prom there for my 25th Bday. When I first checked the place out cindy was very nice and sold herself to me, I was sooo excited. I paid thousand of dollars for all inclusive. When I get there the night of party, I had all paper/plastic plates, cups, utensils, and none of my table were set up, no napkins etc.. EVERYTHING I paid for was not there. I paid extra for REAL bartender, only to see Cindy and her sister bartending. Being VERY rude to my guess. Told us we had to have ice in all our drinks, and no shots everything had to be mixed.. That would've been fine if she would've told me that when I paid. There was PLENTY of rules Cindy decided to change once I got there. She also told my photographer he couldn't set up his backdrop, when me and Cindy had already discussed this. She was very rude to me and my guest, kept making disrespectful comments to them, and walked off on me when I tried to tell her something. I paid for 60people. She refunded me ONLY for the napkins of 50people. she didn't think I noticed, but I did. I will never come here again or recommend this place due to lack of information and disrespect
